For everyone's info. A proof copy is what you order from the printer to check for minor flaws, missing periods, photos overlapping the borders, headings starting on the bottom of the page, forgot to include the ISBN, forgot to include the copyright, forgot to give credit for a photo, etc., etc...

Thats what I would prefer myself, but the cost of a large, color, hard cover is prohibitive unless I order 10,000 in front and pay for them up front. My soc sec check is $600 every month. i am working on getting an agent and a publisher to take care of that. Beard
