I got the standard extension from predator though. Maybe its the uniloc joint

After trying with 3 in extension, the hit changed from crisp hitting to a duller feedback. I am not sure if its imagined, but i felt like some slight power transfer is lost after putting on the extension.

G2 are great tips. Slightly cheaper than zan or kamui tips. Be careful of getting fakes from online though. Buy from reputable sources.

very nice pics. i could not get the same result, possibly because i am just using leather and turning it slowly by hand. the beeswax made the tip a little greasy too. anyway i decided to leave it alone. thanks for posting the pics tho

I do have some bees wax lying around. Maybe i will try with paper towels instead of leather. Thanks

Does anyone has some pictures of a well burnished triangle tip? I used spit and old piece of leather but it doesn't bring out any shine..

that is quite plausible. i'll have to tell him not to leave any old tip during the next install i wouldnt have noticed it if not for the unusually loud ping during normal play yesterday.

i have a williard tool too, great tool.. i seldom shape my tip. i always feel tips are supposed to be self shaping during play. But its a great nifty tool to bring along and can fit in any cue case.
