They were recomanded to me by a friend but I didn't find much info on them and not many stores have them. Any thoughts?

They play very well. Will mushroom at least once.

They are nice tips.

Have used the G2M for many years.

It's what I currently use and have used for about 6 years or so. I would rate them 10/10.

Honestly, I have no ambition to try another tip at this time and I have G2 Mediums on all my cues/shafts that I actually use or will compete with. A while back when Mooris were a thing with the originals, I liked them. Then, there was a stretch, where I tried maybe 15 or so tips. Many of which, I liked a lot, some were ok, and some not so much. At one point, I tried a "flying pig" tip and maybe that was before the moories, not sure, but I did really like that one. I'm not sure why I never tried another one.

I moved over to Kamui and tried various ones, hardness, etc. I did like the Kamui's and had some good ones, but most would mushroom and gloss over pretty good. I felt I had some consistency issues at times from one to the next as well. So considering the cost, I was a little annoyed. Then someone suggested the G2 tip to me, I tried it, and immediately fell in love with the first one, had zero issues, have continued to go back with zero issues and no mushrooming! I literally use my tip pick on occasion and that's it. IMO they play consistent, are reliable, and less maintenance than any other tip I've played with. Now I'm not saying their aren't better tips out there and there are many people swear by I haven't tried, but for me, unless they tweak the recipe or cheapen in some way, I won't be changing anytime soon.

Not liking my predator medium tip that i got a few months ago. It glazes over so fast, stops holding chalk, is miscue city, and requires scuffing everytime i use it. Thinking about this G2. Good choice?

Yes.
It will usually mushroom but then ok after that. I've only tried the soft so far. Soft seems to be more popular here

I’ve got two tips, a med and a hard.
Haven’t used them yet.
Thanks for the reply
A lot of times guys leave us hanging starting a thread and never came back to finish it
After you’ve played a while with your tips, please come back to this thread and give your opinion on how they played
