I have a leather GTF case, with the ultra pad interior. Its in rough shape to say the least, looks like it was beat to hell. I was wondering if there is a way to repair the case? Ill post some pictures later but for instance there are lots of scrapes and little nicks and the bottom looks worn out.

the taper question was directed towards mr. sly. As far as fitting g10 pins, g10 is the material used not the threading. I have a g10 3/8x10 shaft. However there are 3/8x11 and radial and other threadings for the same material.
