I've been playing with the same Schon cue since 1986. I've had other cues over the years but the Schon has been my main player.

Shane does play with a Cuetec cue. The extension at the end of his cue I believe is 6 inches which would make his cue 64 inches long.

As you've already been advised above, ivory is a strong material that can take a beating. I've been playing AND breaking with ivory ferrules for 30 years and I've never had one crack or even get scratched. So, relax!!! Play with them!

Get a Swift case made by Dennis Swift. Built to last and he can make what you want. I've had Swift cases for 20 plus years that still look new.

I am hearing impaired and have a cochlear implant. Deaf without it. It's a blessing in this game as I can have silence anytime I want it. I'm the only one in my family who is hearing impaired and as far as I know, the only one among the people I play with.

He got lucky LOL!! He should have scratched in the side from too much draw in the third or forth rack but the cueball double tittied out. Seriously though, that was an awesome display of shooting 14.1!!!
