A friend just bought a 1928 - 1930 Brunswick Monroe pool table. He just wanted an antique table. It is very nice but needs new rubber of course. He wants me to send the rails off and have them extended to tighten the pockets. The wood where the staples go is eat up pretty bad as well. I know with having the shallow shelf it can only play so tight. I did the same thing to Arcade a few years ago and it plays great. I had Muller do them at 4 1/4 inches and at a 141 degree angel. I feel sure the shelf depth is the same on both tables and was just checking to see if anyone knew for sure. I know Glen had done quite a few tables and really value his opinion. What are some thoughts some of you have on this? Thanks in advance
