I don't care at all for calling your shot. Between two decent players, lucking a ball rarely will make the difference. The only thing I see calling your shot do is start a fight between two hacks in the bar.

I knew a guy that was a terror on an eight foot table. He was decent on a box, less on a big table, but almost unbeatable on an eight footer. That is as close as I have.

I will never sell the Schon I am playing with now. It was my mentor's stick back in the day (early 90s). I bought it from him five years ago and never used it until my return to the game a month or so ago. I wish I could find a player so I could put it up again, though.

Since you are about to be broke for eighteen years at least, play Shadow Creek. And play most of your poker at Binion's, of course.
