    New cloth effects on banks?

Diamond tried that. The first generation Diamond had Brunswick SuperSpeed cushions. Unfortunately, SuperSpeed weren't very good when they were no longer made in the US. Diamond switched to Championship then to the German Artemis. They still had banking problems. Hence, the newer Blue Label...

    Another Aiming System knocker

I don't know . Several just look at the contact point and somehow hit it . No science or system in hittng the contact point but just their visualization of the shot in hitting that contact point .

    DIFFERENCE Efren's prime ( 1975 to 1979) vs ( 1985 to 2000ish)

He personally told me when he played rotation, you better get to 21 by making balls 1 to 6. You had to make the 6 because when you left him 10 balls to run-out , he was out . He said after the first 5 balls are gone, the traffic was much easier . That's why he spotted strong players 100-20...

    DIFFERENCE Efren's prime ( 1975 to 1979) vs ( 1985 to 2000ish)

Straight rail. The tables they were playing on had no squares. He won the bronze medal in carom in Asian games a few years back. He was a decent 3 cushion player. And was a very good balkline player. Last time I saw him play that was in 1997 upstairs at Hollywood Billiards. He used his Meucci...

    DIFFERENCE Efren's prime ( 1975 to 1979) vs ( 1985 to 2000ish)

He was better in the early 90's when he was smoking than in the late 90's ( 1997 and up ). Even though he still won the world 9 in 1999. He won some 33% of the PBT tournaments around 1994-1995.

    Antler joint and butt cap

1 1/8 for joints gives you lots of room to play. Pith not more than 9/16 preferably. Caps around 1.5" or more to get a clean 1 3/8

    Antler joint and butt cap

It's more forgiving with caps because you can line the inside with phenolic. You can bore it up to 1" and line with phenolic. But, it's getting harder to find large pieces. Joints have to be clean outside and pith not more than 5/8.

    Gun drill vs arbor

.760. Gives you room for .750 holed rings. Never cracked a .840 forearm.. I bore the bottom 6" at .825.. I core handles at a little over 7/8. BTW, it.doesn't hurt to have a long boring bar. 5/8 minimum and up to 7" LOC
