The lower I get on the cue, the better it seems that I can aim. I sink more balls when I can get a table level view of the cue, CB and OB. So I assume you asked the question because your experience as an instructor has taught you otherwise?

I've been playing pool off and on for the past 15 years. In the local leagues, I've done alright, but I am ready to take my game to the next level. I've got most of the books...byrnes, capelle, martin, etc. But I'd also like to try an instructional video. My pool table is right next to a TV...

Are there any sites out there that contain high resolution 8 and 9 ball matches? I record all of the 9 ball matches on ESPN2 (I don't get ESPNClassic). But this typically amounts to only 1 or 2 hours a week. The you tube videos are such poor resolution that I can't barely stand to watch them...

Thanks for all the replies. For now, I will purchase either an elite of schmelke 60"+ cue and shoot with it for a while. If I decide that a longer cue is what I need, then I will pay for a custom cue.
