    Best 14.1 Break?

What's the best straight pool break? My main problem is that since i have to lean over to hit the break ball, i lose most of my power and it leads to a giant cluster of balls at the center of table. I've tried using both draw and follow and it still leads to the same problem. How can i more...

    Open Bridge vs. Closed Bridge

Open bridge offers a kind of "elevated stableness". It's just the right height to hit the center of the cueball, and it just feels better to beginners. Looking down the shaft using open bridge also let's you notice any slight descrepancies in yourstroke

    Aim

The first line drawn to the OB goes through to the contact point. Then draw a parallel line through to the CB contact point. Essentially you're connecting the two contact points together using the shortest path that will connect the 2 parallel lines together.

why the facination with fast cloth?

People are going to hate playing on your table. Unless you plan on playing alone for the rest of your life why not get something that's mainstream. All a fast felt does is give the same result with less effort. It seems you don't have much control when stroking softly so you need the slow felt...

The parallel aiming technique is a great method for finding the line of aim to the OB.

why the facination with fast cloth?

A fast felt allows for better cueball positioning, it'll also give the advantage to the player with better speed control-better for distinguishing skill than slow cloth. Also, just about every major tournament will be using the simonis felt, it's going to be a pain adapting from a super slow...

Anyone else play like a noob under pressure?

any time i'm feeling nervous, i can't even make easy shots. I know the reason too. I'm focusing so hard on the shot i'm not focusing on how crooked my stroke becomes. This "tunnel concentration" happens any time i'm under pressure. Anyone else have this problem?

If it were to get a custom cloth, it'd be just a picture of Efren's face lol

Video of balls jumping back out of the pocket in competition. One with Efren....

I've noticed on my table that Draw increases the chance of the OB popping back out. My theory is that the draw which transfers to follow on the OB causes it to spin down the outside edge of the pocket in a circular motion returning the ball to the table. The more perfect the shot is the higher...
