    Pictures of hackwork section!

VINTAGE Hackwork Hacks even existed back in the 40's & 50's. This is from a set of Anniversary rails. Rails had K66 cushions along with the other obvious shortcomings

What nap roller do you use for glue?

Or if you do a lot of tables, just buy the 9" rollers and cut them into thirds. I use the 3/16" nap.

Shelf life of 3M adhesive 10?

What do you expect when he buys the stuff in 55 Gal drums?

Shelf life of 3M adhesive 10?

use it up ASAP What I've found is that the longer the glue goes unused, it starts to "separate" and you have to make sure you mix it up well before use. As it gets older, and the more it is exposed to air, it gets thicker and gums up a lot easier, making it harder to work with. IMO it...

    michaels bank pool tournament

All Diamonds refurbished! I'm adding subrail extensions right now to table 12, and it will be finished Friday afternoon. This is the last table to be redone. All of the 9' Diamonds have new Artemis cushions, pockets tightened up, and Simonis 860HR Tournament Blue cloth  Tables are...

    spots

The spot serves as not only the location marker to rack the balls, but it also protects the cloth from the wear and tear of hard breaks. The magic marker spot is ok for one pocket & 14.1, but breaking at full speed without a spot could eventually wear a hole right through the cloth! :nono:

    spots

No, they are not typically included. You can purchase them directly from Simonis. I believe they are .25 cents a piece and come in sheets of 10 spots.

What's the best to use to attach facings?

Yep those are 1/2" narrow crown staples combined with the 3-M 10 glue. If you're using the nice neoprene facings, make sure you scuff or lightly sand off that slick sheen on the glue side and it holds a lot better ;)

    Diamond subrail extension

I have never attempted this, but as far as stretching the rubber, it will stretch a little, but 1/2" might be too much? Not sure if or how much it would affect the playabilty, but I would make sure your glue bond is secure on the rubber if you're stretching it that much, as it might...

    Diamond subrail extension

Been a while since I posted any pics so here's a Diamond Pro subrail extension job. This was 1 of 2 Diamonds I tightened the pockets up @ Michael's Billiards, Fairfield, OH. Constructive criticism appreciated ;) https://picasaweb.google.com/114351443120585754709/DiamondProSubrailExtension#

    Michaels in fairfield oh, big-gst-event-2000.00-added-513-860-0044

As a side note.... Michael has put a lot of $$$ into refurbishing his Diamond tables, and they are playing great! With the exception of a couple tables which I haven't finished yet, they all have recently had new Artemis cushions and Tour Blue Simonis 860 HR cloth installed.
