    Caudron vs. Sayginer (3-cushion video)

I'll say this: I am likely going to buy a DVD of this tournament just for carom experience before I depart to California. If you say this is one of the best matches there, I'll highly consider buying it. But on one condition: Are you commentating on this particular match? :o

    Caudron vs. Sayginer (3-cushion video)

....yet, this is why he never fails to amaze me  . Can't forget Blomdahl, Jaspers, Sanchez, Sayginer, and (of course) R. Ceulemans.

    Caudron vs. Sayginer (3-cushion video)

One thing that never fails to amazes me is that..... Frederic Caudron looks like if he is almost going to kiss off the first other object ball every single time. His style is as smooth as butter. But for us carom enthusiast, it is very well known why: Because Frederic's background is in Cushion...

Sorry for bringing up an oldie but goldie post, but... I have a clip of this little up-and-coming with a very similar table. Very rock and roll, baby.

    Jump Shots?

to help EZE there....... Say eze, if I am not mistaken, I think it is legit to jump in carom. In snooker, on the other hand, it is illegal to jump over another ball (much less to jump if I am not mistaken). But what is quite ironic is the fact that I have seen Alex "Hurricane" Higgens use...

    Confused about Balkline...

OH, but I always thought that the cueball was part of the deviation when it needs to be on another balk zone, so it's the object balls then that have to be out of the zone that they're in. So then say if the two object balls are on a balk area on a game of 71.2, is it one carom, two carom...

    Confused about Balkline...

Ok, please forgive me if my wording is very aukward (yes, English is my first language and Spanish is my second... and yes... I am Hispanic going for French as my 3rd language and Dutch and German as my intermediate 4th and 5th languages when I head to California next summer. ) but when I...

Carom balls on a pool table?

You know, I read from some article (not so sure if it was a blog or an interview) about how straight rail is considered very difficult because of the endurance one must follow. I mean, yes to Eze123, that it is not easy when one has to hit an object ball, make sure that the cue ball hits the...

Carom balls on a pool table?

....now coming back to the material... very close but carom has more oomph as far as cloth material is concerned. Top pros (or at least in my thought) trust mostly on Granito Tournament carom cloth and the Simionis 300 Rapide so that the ball can run very smooth. I mean who would want to play...

Carom balls on a pool table?

It is alot, really. When you look at a pool table's cushions, the angle being flush with the rail is lower (i.e. not flush with the straightness of the rail) so that the pool ball would not fly off the table (mind you, the regulation height of the cushion is about.... aprox. 63.5% of the pool...

    Pool Player Look Alikes

I don't know if it is just me or not, but does anybody see some resemblance between Shane Van Boening and Mika Immonen. Look at both pictures and tell me there is "some" similarities.

Which kind of reminds me: Does any other freegame/balkline player have something like this other than Xavier G.? I would be interested in this once I get out of retirement (which is called college education ). eze123: you are one punctual little man.... don't ever change
