I'll play Devil's Advocate here: The Aramith TV Pool Balls was DEFINITELY a necessity! When you look at television back in the day (Standard Analog Definition, CRT), it was difficult to figure out what exactly the 2/10 or the 4/12 ball were as well as other colors you cannot differentiate...

LOL, Don't you think you are over-thinking this hypothesis? I mean, all it takes is just the fundamentals of stance, stroke, and tip-positioning of the ball, aiming, and then "pulling the trigger" (all this, which are irrelevant and automatic to non-enthusiast playing for fun).

Yea, I was looking for TAR Podcast for Francisco Bustamante and Alex Pagulayan. Also, the Deuel and Schmidt podcast was another awesome one. Lastly, the two SVB and Efren are always timeless. I also caught the TAR account not existing. That is a painful shame. :(

This is out of lieu of billiardshot's responce of having more members posting about Carom Billiards: What is usually better when applying English (or side) on a cueball: Back-hand English or Parallel English? What does it do to the cueball on both? Deflect (squirt) or does it curve? Please let...

Don't forget that carom cues have a bigger butt diameter than a regular pool cue! :)
