    Best (budget-orientated) Worsted Felt

Is Andy cloth available to buy easily online? A quick Google search came up with a couple of dodgy-looking websites and not much else. Where's the best place to buy it online?

    coolpooltables.com (Southern Billiards) - a reputable supplier???

No, they said they don't usually ship Internationally, not me, and after already ordering in their after sale email. The shipping methods and fees will be calculated by the services you state you provide in their system, most likely Shopify. They could easily switch off all International...

Actually they do a version with the rails pre-cut as well: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/706-53473-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&toolid=10001&campid=&icep_item=190918846615 $127. Reviews at the bottom of the page seem good!

It's looking like gameroomcreations will be most likely. Any experiences with their cloth? WIll be around $118 for a 9 ft table, which is a lot less than Simonis.

    Best (budget-orientated) Worsted Felt

The problem with the Chinese suppliers is no standard for quality at all. You may buy from one supplier and it be one of the best you've ever seen, and then another supplier the worst you've seen. And, of course, they all say in their blurb that they're the best quality ;)

    Best (budget-orientated) Worsted Felt

Ah maybe they don't ship it to Canada then, definitely showing as out of stock (not available) in all colors and sizes :(

    Best (budget-orientated) Worsted Felt

It looks like they maybe don't make that CPBA felt anymore, in the link you provided it is sold out in all colors and sizes. Sounded good though!

Hey guys Need some help! Any recommendations for a budget-friendly worsted felt? I tried ordering from coolpooltables.com: https://www.coolpooltables.com/collections/worsted-pool-table-cloth/products/worsted-pool-table-cloth As great price and sounded great "You will not find a high quality...

    coolpooltables.com (Southern Billiards) - a reputable supplier???

Hey guys Does anyone have any experience ordering with coolpooltables.com, especially if from outside the USA? I placed an order for their Worsted Felt, and I'm in Canada. It would be free shipping in USA (as over $50) but for me to Canada was $11.08USD (which is fine as most sellers on eBay...

SLate Joints - Beeswax or Body Filler?

Looking at the old installation manual for the Brunswick Heirloom, they say to use a quick drying plaster of paris (!!!)

Yes, I'll bet! Not planning on doing it more than once, certainly for the next few years at least!!

SLate Joints - Beeswax or Body Filler?

That's a very good point!! Anyone have experience on using Bondo on an older table that had been previously waxed, rather than brand new?

What type of Beeswax for slate joint sealing?

I like the divided opinion :) Does anyone know if there are different types of beeswax, and which are or are not best for slate joints?

Transporting Pool Tables Slates During Table Break Down and Move

I'm definitely doing the install myself. The table I have bought is $1200CAD, around $900USD. So I couldn't warrant spending $500 plus on the install, unfortunately. Plus, I'm very handy and a careful fussy worker, and like the challenge :) It's a 9ft Brunswick Heirloom BTW. Moving the slates...

SLate Joints - Beeswax or Body Filler?

Interesting!! Two questions spring to mind: Gluing the joints, is this using the small paper squares method I have seen on an online video, or gluing the full joint? How will it ever come apart again?? And yes, what about the screw holes some slates have in the playing surface. Can you Bondo...

SLate Joints - Beeswax or Body Filler?

Does the body filler not prove damaging to the slate if it ever has to be dissasembled (i.e. chips etc) and then reassembled again? Can you get it off before reassembly?

SLate Joints - Beeswax or Body Filler?

Hey guys! Seems to be some confusion on which is best to seal slate joints. beeswax, or (car) body filler? Any thoughts/votes (and reasons appreciated!!)

Transporting Pool Tables Slates During Table Break Down and Move

Thanks for the image, that's perfect and exactly what I'm looking to do!! I'd imagine the slate would have to be pretty tough really. Very hard so somewhat brittle, but also very strong. I'm going to load up just the same as you have done here!! :)
