    Best lightweight break cue

Mine is a 'Homemade' one so to speak. Found a Dufferin Dot for sale. It was a 17 oz. Took it to a local guy that does cue work. He took the Male joint off the shaft of the cue and proceeded to use an Oaken floor- board from the Local Senior Center when they'd re finished it over a decade ago and...

Any Reason Not to Use a Brush or a Vac With a Brush Attachment on Cloth?

Howdy All; Back when, ... in Southern Ohio for league night in a local bar they'd use one of those ole Dirt Devil Royal portables with the beater brush. Appeared to work fine. Reconfiguring Your Game…Game Goes Down The Toilet?

KillerWhalePool, Howdy; Been playing since the Summer of 1961. Sounds like a long time but really it breaks down to maybe 20 years of actual playing. Many vacations, some long others not so long. Without consistent use the 'muscle memory' tends to forget. With age added into it it almost...

why do pros aim so low on the cue ball at cue ball address???

straightline, Howdy; It came across poorly, I know too many that when they got out thought they could make it as a pool/darts hustler. Especially from the Nam era. Way to many where taken advantage of. Fortunately, I had a job that kept me from being one myself. I still see some that haunt the...

    Keilwood shafts

Howdy All; To me it is about the age of the wood and how long it's been aged before it was cooked. How it was cooked (time, temp. akin to heat treating metal), and who cooked it. Was the blank bought? Lots of 'things' can influence the price including. hank

    Production Cues vs. custom

Howdy All; In my Signature you can see everything I have. Mostly I have what I consider are the Production end cues from a few well liked Cue makers, The Meucci MO-03 that I bought in early '79, McDermott C-series from 80-84. The Bludworth that he told me he'd made in the mid '90s and the...

    Why 13 mm

Howdy All; Why is it that 13 mm is considered to be the 'Standard' diameter for a cue tip? Is it because Bigger isn't much better or awkward? Because it's easier to remove material to get the diameter that the owner prefers without to much effort or time? Some other parameters I'm not...
