Colt Kodiak, Howdy;
Get a copy of R Givens' "Eight Ball Bible". Granted it's geared for the old 'Heavy' CBs but they can be adapted
to an equal weight CB.
Chuckle, an folks ask me why I hit the CB so hard, LOL.

white 1, Howdy;
I consider myself to be "average". I had a shaft made for an old Dufferin a few years back.
Hasn't made much difference in my break, has prolonged the life of my tips on other cues.
The folks I play with, most of'em, weren't born when I started playing. Not many in my age...
Howdy All;
When I was in the military we used to take "combat naps". You can take one anywhere (almost),
at about anytime and even just 5 minutes of brain dead time will do for a few hours. It's truly
amazing how well they work. Like most things it takes a wee bit of practice to get the hang...
Fatboy, Howdy; Ya hit the nail on the head with ALL 3 choices. I agree with all 3.
C. If they can't admit to a mistake what else have they NOT told us?

Howdy All;
As long as the table is in decent condition, either works for me. Although
my Respiratory Therapist tells me that the more 'steps' the better. So I'll
throw my nod to the Drops camp. chucklin' The few extra steps are no
problem.

Fatboy, Howdy;
I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy London in it's prime. Early to mid 70's.
Carnaby St., Mods & Rockers back before they started to 'Modernize' a classic city.
Doubt I'd even recognize it were I to return any time soon. Was engaged to a proper
young lady and shared the flat...
Howdy All;
In his book "The Eight Ball Bible" R. Givens has some diagrams on page 37.
Granted the book was written/published in 2003, so, given 'things' change ...
What they show is the difference between "Regulation" tables (4.5 X 9) opposed
to a BAR Box. Here's the gist of it;
Reg. Table Side...
Howdy;
Think he'd be lookin' more for a Fine thread rather then a Course thread. Just mho.
Did a quickie Goo-goo search and found Granger. Only problem is quantity, they sell
them in packages of 25. Here's the link...
Bob, Howdy;
Thanks for the link. As far as NM. only 3 up around Albuquerque, (3 hours, 1 way), and 1 in El Paso
(2 hours, 1 way). Chucklin' NM is like taking a ride in Mr. Peabody's way-back machine. Except of
course, around the Albuquerque/Santa Fe/ Los Alamos area. Why do ya think they...
bbb, Howdy;
Chucklin', I don't live in the middle of nowhere, but, when I step out of the RV I can see it.
I live half way between Hatch and Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Nearest big town
is Las Cruces, N.M. about 60 miles in a Southeasterly direction. El Paso, Tx is another 60
miles in...
TheJackle, Howdy;
Have you tried running the 'Light" cues weight bolt about 1/2 way out from
it's forward position? Puts the weight (literally), further aft and helps make
the tip end feel heavier? Would like to know what you think should you try that.
hank
Howdy All;
Unfortunately, not everyone can afford the time and $'s to go jetting back-n-forth around the Country
to get lessons. What's good for us close to home stuck folks?

TrxR, Howdy;
What's causing the question? Quality, finish, weight, wrap or no, balance, taper, tip, or ... ?
Distance to either, cost, postage or pick-up ...?
Lots of variables, what are ya stubbin' yer toe on?

A friend of mine watched me struggle for about 5 - 10 attempts then suggested
I not use the 2 front fingers of the grip hand and used the stripe laid sideways.
Turns out I was raising the tip up as I came into the ball. Can't raise it up without
the 2 front fingers. Stripe gave me a aim point...
