WRISTS - The "hidden power catalyst" of a great stroke or "just along for the ride"?

I admire your game and I surely would love to get your DVD for free. P.S. since I watched you play with Mizerak, an old video, and started copying what you're doing, my game got a lot better, so far this season in APA league where I play, I haven't lost yet and went up 3 skill levels in just 4...

Top english change to draw after bounces of bottom rail

Thanks. It was such a long discussion so I got confused lol. The shot that I linked to is made using top left ( around 11-30) english so the ball draws back to the rail after hitting the rail rebounding from the ob

Whats the Luckiest (slop) shot you've ever seen....Good or Bad

I played a game one time, where my opponent played safe on me. It was an 8ball game. the cue ball was somewhere near the side pocket, the eight ball was sitting about an inch away from the opposite side long rail about a diamond away from the side pocket. and his ball was blocking me from...

What is the best match up you have had playing pool and won?

When I was in Vegas this march, I played a challenge game of 8 ball with Tom Rossman(Dr. Cue).He ran out and hooked himself on the 8. When it was my turn, I ran out all the balls but one and hooked myself, overshot position by a few inches. So, I walked a couple of times around the table...

    Inconsistency

My pre-shot routine is always the same. When I play great it's the same and it doesn't change when I play bad.

    Inconsistency

I started having this problem recently... First off, let me tell you where I am standing pool wise.I started playing about 4 years ago, of which , my first 3 years I was just a bar room banger. Started practicing seriously about a year ago, reading pool books, watching videos, working on my...

    what is a straight shaft?

Turn the lights off in the room completely. put a flash light on the table on one side of the shaft and look from the other side when rolling. if you see any light coming from under the shaft it's not straight. Very old trick. It became easier with technology, back in the day you had to put a...

    A Cue Tip Poll

I use Kamui now, so far it's the best tip I have ever used, but I have never tried the ultra layered one, to be honest. That's why I didn't vote. You never know , I might like it better if I had a chance to try, but I am not gonna take my Kamui off my cue and replace it with some other tip. If I...

    Rules of Thumb in Pool

I don't agree with this rule. Sometimes you use a draw shot when making a ball from ball in hand position to break up a cluster. Or for example, in 9 ball, sometimes when 9 is hanging and there's no way to play a combination, you can make a ball and draw the cueball to make the 9. There are few...

    Real test of skills

it's cool, but different. Here NO balls are allowed to hit a rail.

    Real test of skills

That would be interesting to watch! But don't forget that none of the object balls can touch a rail either in this scenario. Did the guy run racks without object balls touching rails?

    Real test of skills

how are you gonna stop cb on cut shots? all the shots gonna be straight in shots for you?

    Real test of skills

Of course you wouldn't be able to break , but when the balls are spread out it would be one of an interesting game!

    Real test of skills

Just saw this picture and a mad thought popped in my head . That would be a real test of skills to play a game on a table without rails. No banks, no kicks, just regular shots, speed control means a lot if not everything. any ball that falls off the table other than in the pocket area is a foul.
