How much practice does it take to mantain your current level of playing?

Hello Scott,
I would like to meet you too. I have heard and read a lot about you.
I told the guy all he has to do is call Buffalo Billiards, the worlds pool hall in Metairie, Louisiana and ask buffalo of someone that works there. Ronnie Wiseman is there every night! Ask him. He can Google.com and get the phone number. Thanks for your response, Scott. Very good to hear from you.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

I enjoyed your interview, Lock. I got myself a fancy new TV and was able to get almost through the 3rd one before the connection froze you! You may have to ask Comcast for weight.

Why are you busting lock's balls? I've never seen him act anything but extremely polite on the forums, and he likes to post new threads designed to spark discussion. On top of that, it's clear he plays pretty sporty.

You heard he's not that hot? Who gives a shit? Has anyone heard anything about you, or are you just not even worth discussing?

His answer was pretty clear. He's played guys like scotty townsend (a guy who's put up 7 and 8 packs) even... and is barred from a tournament that accepts A players. That means' he's AA minimum.

Hello Creedo,
My hat goes off to you Sir! I thought I was plain as I could be to the point. All he has to do is call Buffalo Billiards, the worlds pool hall and ask for Ronnie wiseman! How simple is that. He won't believe that right from the horses mouth. Or he could go to Facebook.com and look at Ronnie Wiseman page and send him an e-mail. He checks it often. Or go to Larry Nevel's Facebooks page and ask him how I play. And why he wants the 7 and the last 2 balls playing 9 ball. They are not going to lie.

And Corey D, was with Larry when this took place in Atlanta, Ga. Mr Cues II.
Creedo,
You are an asset to the AZB forums. And pool players all over the world! I read your threads too.

Hey Banks,
I thank you for those kind words. I am glad you liked my interviews. I guess they interview non good playing pool players too! How big is the screen on your new TV? What do you think I need to get from Comcast in weight? He, he, he. I like your post too, Banks. I appreciate all the good friends I have on AZB. I have several students and not one of them has had a problem playing good pool with great lessons. I love helping pool players to better their pool game.

I'm at an all time low , so if I don't play or practice I don't have to worry about it :p Truth is I want to play but have been steady at building up a new career .For me it's about priorities , once I get a bit more established and can trade in the fork for a spoon in the cereal bowl ,I can be back at the table. The way things have been that fork has been saving my milk for the next bowl .

Hello Matt90,
Hang in there and you will be OK! Don't worry about anything. Just do what you have to do!
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

Practice Practice Practice till the game becomes so unappealing and skill ends up staying steady is all I see and hear.

Its the learn how to walk away from the table and have fun again that will improve skill IMO.

Forgot who said it but, " The person who's having fun out there on the table is the person to fear, this is when instinct and skill truly shows its colors."

The human brain is a dangerous thing.

Wow Load, are you saying that Larry Nevel wants the 7 and the last two to play you 9-Ball? Double wow!! If so, then you should be thinking seriously of coming to the U.S. Open where you don't have to give weight to anyone and you can win 40K this year. I'd say if you can give that kind of weight, you are maybe a ball under Dennis Orcollo. Not too shabby sir!

By the way if and when I ever get in stroke, like Tate I can maintain my game if I play an hour or two maybe three days a week. I need to play a lot longer if I want to get stronger though.

P.S. Hey Tate, come on by and play me some One Pocket. I need a game!

Well Hello Mr. Jay,
Good to hear from you. Hope all is well with you and your family! Larry is my friend and he did ask for that weight. Larry shoots real good too. I did not give him that weight it was what he asked for to play me some 9 ball. He then went on to bank every ball on the table. I had to keep both eyes on Larry.
When you work for a living it is hard to take time off from your job to go to some of the pool events around the country. It is a good thought though. I will keep it in my thoughts too.
I heard that you and JoeyA finally matched up and played some good pool.
Tate is in trouble now with you calling him out! Take care, Jay.
Many Regards,

Too you both:

Drill Baby Drill

I'd like to do an hour each day. But that's not always attainable, some days I can only do 20 minutes of drills plus a few hours games with my family. On the weekends I can do 6 hours broken up through out the day:boring2:.

Met with Instructor Donny Lutz last weekend to improve my defensive game and added that to my repertoire.

Setup the recorder and capture some our games. Even though it's intimidating at first. I wonder how it helps my game, I think it does, but I can't explain just why.

APA says I'm a 2 and I agree. I've played just 8 matches with the APA. But since the last season ended I've done a lot work. We picked up a couple of books and continued to make progress in pocketing, position, banks and now safeties too. My friends all commented that my game is improving also strangers come up and ask if I'm a PRO :rotflmao1: I'm confident I can move up to a 3. Definitely not going down.

Wow! Way to go, Lock! I met Larry in PA at the SBE and that guy can play some pool! I wonder if there's any videos of your game online? I love to watch strong players!

B+ player. Play twice a week; 1-2 hour sessions. Play nine ball ghost races to 9 and win 65-75% time on my Diamond Smart table. Just strarted playing league on Monday, so add 2-3 hours. May get to A status, but playing 8 ball is not my game, but fun to play on a team with fellow co-workers. Feel I'm in stroke and really enjoying it. Try to play in 4-5 $50 - $100 tournaments a year and was fortunate to win the last GSBT event I played it. Love the game and happy I came back to playing seriously after a 10 year break. Lastly, love my new custom -R- full splice cue and couple it with a 314-2 shaft, which provides a solid firm hit. I think it helps me feel more confident with my stroke and game more than my last custom. Who knows.

Hello Madmiller,
I don't think there are any photos of me playing on the Internet. Go to Bigtruck web site and there are some videos of me. Thanks.
