So to summarize, you had a bad experience with a bunch of wankers (did I pronounce that right?) and therefore all leagues suck. Is that what you're saying? That league doesn't sound like much fun and I wouldn't play in it either. However, that does not mean that all leagues are bad or not...

For a 9' table, I agree with you. For a barbox, though, what should happen if the 8 is pocketed on the break? I'm not paying $1.25 just to get the 8 ball back out!
