What is your Favorite Tip flavor at the moment

not cheap, just skipping the middle man markups... manufacturer doubles his cost to distributor who doubles their cost to retailer who doubles their cost to consumer so a tip that costs $3 to make costs the distributor $6 who sells it to the retailer for $12 who sells it to the consumer for...

    Best pool learning books?

All great advice & worth spending time on, some of my favorite books especially all of the Robert Byrne's books. "Gold Crown" Ball Polisher

I have a Diamond double disk unit and I think the rotation comes from the spinning disk imparting side spin. It is not like the balls are sitting on a belt sander, the disk rotation is not "straight"

    Chattanooga TN pool halls?

Chattanooga Billiard Club East is a fantastic pool room. The downtown location is more of a bar and not by any means is it is serious pool room. Well worth the trip to CBC East, the best room in the area. Reminds me of Zingales in Tallahassee or Gate City Billiards in Greensboro, NC

    It’s a Billiard not a Carom!!!

Interesting perspective, I never looked at it as a comparison to "pocketless" billiards. A "Carom" used as a noun is as you described, or, as I described To "Carom" used as a verb is to strike and rebound, e.g. "he caromed the 3 ball into the side pocket off of the 1 ball." I guess they...

Why do pros do bar box tournaments? Serious reply's only

One answer: - I asked a prominent pro a similar question abut why they play 9 ball and 10 ball tournaments but rarely play 8 ball. His answer was enlightening "because that's what the promoters offer" basically, they play whatever they can to make a living Another answer: - I read an article...
