    Custom cue question

I would go with a traditional build vs. a sneaky pete. The reason I favor the traditional basic cue over the SP is that I as a builder have a little more control over the balance and weight of the cue. With a sneaky pete you have less options build wise unless you section the butt.

Deal gone bad on superior cues site

So if you have a friend selling a cue and you mention it someone are you now responsible for that deal if it goes bad? Just something for your consideration. Bryan

Deal gone bad on superior cues site

Didn't the OP buy the cue directly from Don Roland from Tennessee? Did Martin receive money? Martin doesn't profit from the deal but he gets all the grief when someone else misleads, that isn't right. Respectfully, Bryan Mordt

Deal gone bad on superior cues site

Don Roland from Tennessee Why isn't the person who is responsible for misrepresenting the cue being held accountable? All of this focus on Martin seems misplaced in my opinion. This is Don Roland's deal not Martin's. From my perspective Martin seemed to try and help someone out with a listing...

Any pics of dark stained olive wood?

I have used quite a bit of olivewood over the years and have never for a second thought of staining it. It's gorgeous as is with no need of embellishment. Furniture can looks great stained but if your staining cue wood it is only because you haven't picked a nice piece to begin with IMO. Bryan
