My Stolen cue is on eBay

There is certainly no harm. Were it me, I'd take the auction down and try to resolve this in a way that works for EVERYBODY, but, the guy is certainly within his legal rights as a business to owner to proceed with the eBay sale. Kevin

My Stolen cue is on eBay

Of course its not the case. The reality of things has nothing to do with what people say on AZ. eBay is a business and won't react without court orders or police reports (unless you are a VERO member). Kevin

Greg Here's what he says which I find plausible as it is what I would do (and have done) in this situation, " I spoke to our police department. They said that they have no record of a report being filed or requested down here, and further, the situation that the "victim" claims is a civil...

Once again, buyers beware...this sale was a ripoff attempt!!

I'll ask one more time before I decide the "victims" would prefer to moan than to try and do something about the situation. Was the table purchased on eBay? Was it paid for through PayPal? If "yes" how was the payment funded? When? Thanks Kevin

My Stolen cue is on eBay

What a surprise, the pawn shop owner knows the law regarding stolen goods, did the right thing, contacted his local police, and was informed there is no police stolen property report. Let's vilify him anyway.

My Stolen cue is on eBay

Without a police stolen property report identifying this cue, it is currently in the hands of its rightful owner. The guy won't just disappear, with 50,000 feedbacks it appears eBay is a substantial part of his business.

Of course he is unaware, he put the thing up on eBay. The guy who was aware pawned the cue. And he being in the pawn business, I can guarantee you he knows the law regarding stolen property. The problem is victims are often so focused on trying to get the police to do what they really can't...

Deno. That is too much, but like you said, "figures". Wonder if Deno paid to be in the inner circle ($75K I think) or if KT gifted him. I imagine Deno got in by sponsoring some number of marks to join the club, but who knows, maybe he's a true believer. Kevin
