    Top 5 players in TN?

Hennessee #1 I'm new to TN, but the names I hear the most behind him are Eric Roberts and Josh O'Neal. I may not have heard the other big names because I am too far west. There is decent action in my area if you're in the 500-600 fargo range. It's not so easy if you're over that. Half of the...

Reconfiguring Your Game…Game Goes Down The Toilet?

Yup. When I started taking lessons I had to learn a new way to hold the cue, new stance, new stroke, etc. It took about 3 months to get back to where I was but then my game just kept going up after that. Hang in there. Do the work. Profit.

replaced two cue tips today-85 bucks.

Most brands are better than Kamui, they just have less money for advertising. Dawg duds, Talisman, and Tiger all play better than Kamui in my opinion. I have tried more than one Kamui to form this opinion.

    Savannah Easton

She seems like a good kid. If she keeps the same level of passion for the game, her future in pool looks bright. I don't think players should create their own nicknames though.

What is the best ferrule material

I have not noticed any difference in playability. I can keep the black cleaner and undamaged when changing tips. That super soft white ferrules on the Cynergy -not so much.

    $1k Cue Ball …..

I owned the original with the spring-projected red missile thing. It was deemed a choking hazard. Montgomery Ward did the recall giving me the new fix-mounted fett and a marchbox car in exchange for the unicorn.

    Instroke Case Repair

I had the entire bottom end of my old instroke repaired by a leather shop. I think they were able to stretch it out a half inch as well. I shot with a couple 60" cues back then. They fixed the bottom of the case that had basically accordioned in upon itself and replaced a couple broken...

    $1k Cue Ball …..

I have a few antique lures from my grandfather. Is there a "Holy Grail" of lures out there? As a child, I owned a Star Wars action figure that people talk about almost like it was only a legend. My mother made me return it because it was a "choking hazard". I was old enough to not eat toys...

    Lathe for tips

x2 It's hard enough finding a small lathe with a thru bore, let alone one that size. Before I built my contraption I was always looking for a decent size lathe with a thru diameter over an inch. They NEVER came up in small units.

Congrats Syndro... err Tyler! This is Tyler's look when he's in the chair waiting for his turn at the table.

    Lathe for tips

I built one a couple years ago but the motor needs a gear reduction to not overheat/smoke. The pillow block is large enough to lock in an ER32 holder and uses nylon collets. The block size simply offers too much resistance for the motor. I guess I could power it by other means until the break-in...

    Fedor Mosconi cup

I had to explain to John Barton that China is not a race a few years ago. Were people this dense before social media?

    Fedor Mosconi cup

If we're going off the rails with possibilities, Kristina could pop out a kid and she and Fedor would both receive green cards. I'm not suggesting anything, just another life-changing, crazy scenario to improve the US' chances for a "W". In all seriousness, the US will need great performances...

is the ten ball break more broken than the nine ball break?

I agree with most of your points but in my experience, the casual viewer gets was more excited about a jump shot than a kick. As long as pattern racking and slop are not allowed I'm happy to watch any rotation game.

Do you know anyone that has been banned from a pool room?

I know 1 guy banned from one of the halls in Tucson. Here in TN, I know of 3 people being banned (often temporary) from one or both pool halls in town. Typically it is from fighting or trying to instigate a fight.

    Fix 9 Ball Break Shot/Answer

I'm a big proponent of 10Ball replacing 9ball in all world championship events. I don't believe anyone should win or lose a rack on the break. I don't feel slop should count at the pro level. 10B solves both of these issues. I HATE "golden breaks". MR would love to see someone snap 9 golden...
