Need Advice Regarding Tip Size / Diameter

For the tip itself? Yes. But what's going to really change is the diameter of the shaft which will impact the flexibility and deflection of it. Then you have taper profiles, materials, etc, etc.... Lots of variables.

    Anyone heard from ChrisinNC?

Seeing a storm surge or tsunami from an earthquake is straight terrifying. A 10+ foot wall of water/debris that doesn't slow down... No thanks. I'll stick to the cold and blizzards... Hope everyone out there is OK. It's one thing around the coast where they expect it and know how to deal with...

What case makers make cases with soft dividers and not plastic tubes?

Most of the major cue maker's cases are fleece/felt/satin lined. Love my Predator Urbain and the CueTec Pro-Lines are nice. I've found it tough to find a hard+padded case for a 1x1, but for anything 2x2 or more there's a ton of selection.

    What would you have done?

A much cheaper mistake than forgetting to pull other things out....

    What would you have done?

Playing friendlies i usually just put the jump cue extension on the table within reach. On the rare occasion that i don't know by looking which length i'll need. With my old J/B cues i'd often put the butt in the pocket so it wouldn't roll around. Would never do that in competition, but even in...

    I went back today...

I switched back to my 2010 SP with a Z-3 shaft for a few games the other day and it feels so weird now. Not in a good way either. Almost feels...dead? I still use wood on a couple of my cues because it just looks right. Putting the Revo on a 15yo cue that came with a 314-2 just feels wrong. The...

ANY C F SHAFT USERS PRESENTLY HAVE KAMUIATHELETE CUE TIP INSTALLED???

Second on the SAI. I've had terrible luck with break tips delaminating and it's held up really well. Never need to touch it. What's the impression you're getting from the Athlete vs the comparable Clear Black?

    MN Pool BootCamp Review

What is your rate for a local player? I'm only 20 minutes from Slate and would be interested in a bootcamp or other sessions this winter.

    Predator cues w/ radial pins

Seconded. I like the UniLoc for ease, but don't really care much. I just like all my cues using the same joint so everything is interchangeable. I wish the Blak series were UniLoc, but my wallet is glad they are not.... 🙃

Where in MN? I usually play at Jimmy's in Columbia Heights if you're ever up for some friendly sets.

    Freaking Heathen

Some people really struggle with creating a bridge. I don't get it, but I've been playing since i was little and am fairly coordinated. Steps i give people are: Hand spread flat on the table with thumb closed, then lightly "squeeze" the table. Seems to work for most people. One of the weirdest...

    Fedors Jump Cue

Same way i feel about mountain biking (my primary summer hobby): Good bikes are expensive AF, but riding most trails is free. Just the cost of fuel to get there and parts (plus post-ride beers, but we don't count those...). Seconded. I "replaced" my primary cue that i bought in 2010 mostly...

    800 in 3-5 Business Days

<sarcasm> Picked up an SVB Dakota Edition CueTec and instantly became an 800. Makes balls by itself, always at least 3 on the break. <sarcasm\> Really though: Added this cue to my collection because I like variety and the SVB pearl white is so distinctive. I've never had a playing cue that...

    Predator Pure Chalk

Preference. I got the sampler and prefer the Soft. Also like the hard more than the medium, so... *shrugs* I would guess that the S/M/H act differently on different tips: The soft is great on all my Kamui soft tips, but the hard applied best on the break/jump tips. Correlation, maybe not...
