See it at the expo a lot on the money tables. Someone makes an early 9 or 10, just use the rest of the balls for the next rack with the same rules and the highest ball is the new money ball. No point in wasting the quarters.
I basically said that. However we have a ton of Fargo rated tournaments here and that 2 points could be the difference between entering one or not. It could also mean the difference in game spots in some handicapped fargo tournaments.

I can't say I ever noticed something like that directly with a wood shaft... but maybe when you are warming up or first start shooting you are subconsciously adjusting to a different environment.
Yeah and if the opponent "NEGECTS HIS DUTY" and buries his head in a phone then that's on him if he misses a foul.
