    Gus Szamboti 70's

I hope this cue sells too. I am sick and tired of this thread where a guy that doesnt want to sell it unless he gets more than its worth. Geez - Give it a rest. How many years is this thread going to last? Ken

    Vegas bound again

I would rather live in Vegas. Why anyone would want to live in California is beyond me. I see that lots of folks are starting to feel the same way and are moving to Texas. I dont blame them. Sorry Texas. Ken

how are ya'll doing in league ?

Here in Indy we have both One Pocket and Bank Pool leagues on 9 foot tables. The league is handicapped which helps fill out the leagues almost immediately with 32 players each session. Great group of guys that I am blessed to play against. Mac Ashby plays in league and is league...

    8 ball handicaps

I dont understand what you are saying. We were playing $5 a game 9 ball. I know, cheap. Moving a penny to keep track. Ken

    8 ball handicaps

When gambling with a weaker player, I offered him that every time he won it counted 2 and every time I won it only counted 1. We were playing by the game and was alot tougher than I thought it was going to be. Ken

    8 ball handicaps

You can let them have the break and they can continue to shoot even if they dont make a ball on the break. Once they decide on either solids or stripes allow them to take 1 or 2 balls off the table (usually if they have balls tied up or trouble balls) As noted above, the only way I have done...

    Funny pic/gif thread...

I lived in West Virginia and had the opportunity to go into a coal mine there. Wow, them boys earn their money. The tour was done by a retired mine working and he stated the song was pretty accurate about working in mines in the 20th century. I recommend if anyone can take a tour do...

    "legends" of today

I watch some of these legends especially the videos in black and white and I think they wouldnt have a chance against today's players. I have a multi CD set that had Ronnie Allen and Danny Deliberto playing for several days. Tony Chohan or Efren would eat their lunch and take their lunch...

Let's Post Some Joss West Cues

I have told this story before, but dealing with some other cuemakers that werent so nice makes you appreciate the good guys. I have had probably 20 JW cues over the years. I just liked how they played. I bought one, one time and it was a pretty old one and somewhere along the line the...

    Bar table specialists

I dont think anyone was barred from the $10K bet with Dave. If Keith wanted action, he had all he wanted from Matlock.

    Bar table specialists

I lived in Springfield, Missouri and started learning to play pool there. Danny Harriman and Darrin Everett were the top guns and awesome players. I knew practically nothing, but was in awe of both of them. They were having a bar box tournament in Springfield and they started having an...

    Bar table specialists

IMO Matlock was practically unbeatable on bartable. Sure he played on 9 foot tables too, but he wasnt the dominent force like he was on bar table. I had heard that he had a standing offer for $10K bet for anyone who wanted to play (when $10K was a good amount of cash) and not many came to...
