what cues are saving up for ?

I have the cues I want and have "thinned the herd" down to my keepers. The only cue I would pick up would be a Kersenbrock. Seldom see them for sale. If I had to sell all my cues, the last cue I would sell would be my Schick, of all my cues it is my favorite by far. Ken

    *****Omega/DPK*****

I always loved the look, so perfect. I bought a pretty loaded Omega/DPK and I couldn't make a ball with it. I guess it was the taper of the shafts, I don't know. I hated it because it was gorgeous cue, but sold it pretty soon after I got it. How does this one play? Ken

    Hard Times Bellflower

That was my point. If you couldn't get a license where you were at, anyone would think you would move to where you could. Sad, but it seems just common sense to me. Ken

    Hard Times Bellflower

I wondered why they didn't serve liquor. I understand that everyone wants to be like Ames, (no pinball, no jukebox, no bar, just pool....this is Ames mister) You got to evolve or die.... A poolroom I used to go to, the owner was pool player first, but the cherry master machines paid for...

    best way to store cues

In my safe I store mine in my safe. They are vertically stored either in cases, or in location. I have coins, guns and the wife's jewelry as well as our important paperwork. Best thing for piece of mind for me was getting the safe. When I see cues displayed, internally I think, "Wow...

    What happened to Meucci cues?

I have to laugh at the folks that say Corey plays with a Meucci or this other player plays with a Meucci… Listen stupid, they are playing with a Meucci not because it is their favorite cue, they are being PAID to play with it.... Geez, some folks are so dumb. Earl Strickland played with a...

Do you perfer wood to wood joint or SS and why

At one time I used to think like you on joints. But I think if I went to Southwest cues and told her I didn't want her normal pin and joint, and I wanted 5/16X18 (Meucci) she would deny it, and for good reason. Now, I think asking any cuemaker to change from their normal pin and joint is...

Do you perfer wood to wood joint or SS and why

I agree, but #4 would be joint. I think that big ass pin flat face might be the best joint now, but I have cues made by masters, and trust me they feel incredible. Over the years, I have owned many, many Josswest cues. So all things being the same (tip, taper, ferrules, etc) other than...

    8 point Bill McDaniels

I guess our sport is full of mysteries but Bill McDaniel cues are high on the list for me. I finally got one maybe 10 years ago, while I understood they were well respected, the ones I had seen previously had floating points, which I am not a fan. Once I got one in my hands that didn't...

Filler and TRex. Tue -Wed at Roys

I am just not a fan of this smaller pockets make pool better. I have heard for years that playing on "tight" pockets will make you a better player. It wasn't until a table in my home town was made sub 4" that I saw what really happened. It changed the 9ball game where unless there was no...
