    Southwest Cue Started.......(I hope)

Cookie - Unless you told Laurie you wanted 2 when you got on the list, you can only get 1. I asked her the exact same thing and that was what she told me. I even gave her the "I have 2 grandsons story" and that didnt help...LOL Ken

    Southwest Cue Started.......(I hope)

I thought I was going to do that, but the cost of the cue kept going up and up. Frankly, I was surprised how much it added up to cost. A third shaft is $525. Ken

    Southwest Cue Started.......(I hope)

I finally got the call from Laurie Franklin that my number had finally had come up. I got on the list in June of 2006 and her call came this May of 2023, (yep 17 years). While I have commissioned maybe 50 cues over the years, this is really the first time I have ordered a cue from an order...

How many Cues do you own today

Yeah I meant Tascarella. Pete is great to work with, not cheap, but no bullshit that you have to put up with some cue makers. I play with a Gus, but those Bluegrass guys are like a cult, LOL. I need to pick one up, easier said than done. Best of rolls Baron. Ken

How many Cues do you own today

I think Tas cues are pretty easy to get and I really like them. I have never had a Bluegrass but a few of my buddies swear by them, and they seem practically impossible to get. Were the Bluegrass cues the toughest to get? Just curious. Ken

    POOL MOST DIFFICULT SPORT

I have made bets against "star" high school baseball players batting against girl high school softball pitchers. My daughter played varsity softball for 4 years. If you wanna see some baseball players look silly, let them see a 70 mph rise ball from 43 feet. One of the tricks is to...

    Mike Sigel cues

Mike is such a jerk that most serious cue buyers wouldnt deal with him. I was browsing his booth at SBE years ago and Mike came up and told me I probably couldnt afford his cues.....are you kidding me? That was my first time meeting Mike. His cues sold for $2k-$6k new for a while and I knew...

    Dating Joss West Cue?

Its a shame that the buttcap is busted. It will need to be replaced and when it happens the JW logo will be lost. I bought an obvious JW cue that had the buttcap replaced and I called and talked to Bill and asked him to restamp it. He did it for no charge (I gave him some anyway). Bill...

    Replacing touched balls

In one pocket I was taught moving 1 ball, the ball was replaced. Moving 2 or more was loss of game. I think that is just and fair. Ken

    Help needed to cue value

I wouldnt give more than $750 for either of them. Nice cues, but sneaky petes are $400-500 these days and these arent much more than that. JMO Ken

What Is Up With Master Chalk?

Lou - I use "pre-flag" Master chalk and I find it is excellent and probably the chalk you remember. Over the years, folks have said there is no difference, but I have too much experience to believe it. Use some of this "pre-flag" Masters and then tell me if you have the same issue. Best...
