    Balance point joint weights

I should post some pictures of a few of the UN believable weight bolts I have taken out of cues. some are around 4-5 oz. Not kidding. I have the remains of some that I cut down that are still 2-3 oz.

    Balance point joint weights

If I wanted to maintain the weight and move the balance forward I would ask a qualified cue maker to remove the joint pin and add some weight below it exactly like a rear weight bolt works. Then remove the appropriate amount from the rear. It should be easy enough once the pin is out with the...

Can you carom off the one to the rail and kick towards the 9 in the corner while also creating a possible Z shot with the one?

"Best" way to check for taper roll?

Just roll it on a pool table. look for any wobble and determine if it is significant to you / them. do it with both pieces individually to test each piece then together to see if the joint is square to the center-line. If this is not "good enough" some one does not understand basic physics...

    New Billiard room in Denver

Two observations. Not great neighborhoods and from the pictures No where comfortable to sit. I will go visit them some time soon and see what I think after that. I wish Jerry had insulated and added a good heating cooling system to Shakespeare's. It would probably still be there today. I loved...

    Gorilla Glue

I have never been a fan of the ca gels and may never be. I have given them another chance lately and have found them to be a pain in the ass. Besides being hard to get out of the bottle they take a very long time to cure compared to ordinary old CA. I usually give a tip with loctite pro super...

    Hustlin Hank

Does anyone know about Hustling Hank' I am guessing he would now be an older gentleman not playing anymore. All I know he was from the east coast and little or nothing else. I know that's not a lot to go on, but if someone is familiar it may be a no brainier.

    Removing Glue From Carbon Fiber

Acetone is better than nothing but is not an epic super glue remover by any means. I bought the goof off product but have not tried it yet. I hope it's better than acetone which is mediocre at best. I have used bottled purified water and found it is every bit as good as acetone. I soaked my...

    Gorilla Glue

I appreciate the advice. Today I had to go buy a storm door at Home Depot. So while I was there I stopped by the paint department where the glue is and told the employee working there that I had not had any luck with this glue and asked what I was doing wrong. He said they get a lot of returns...

    Gorilla Glue

Serious here, I have never seen a bottle of gorilla glue gel that would even move it you left the bottle upside down. How did you get it out?

    The best cue tip cement.

Oddly enough, I have purchased gorilla glue gel a couple times and it was so thick I could not get it out of the bottle. Now when I'm in Lowes or Depot I turn the bottles upside down and the glue never moves at all. Every bottle every time.

    Does this ad bother you?

No it does not bother me. I'm not a victim of an almost swear word. I kind of like the real world approach. Although pool players are a rather sensitive bunch in general, they may have done well to reconsider the use of humor to sell a very serious product.
