Value of every day player cue

Worthless! I gave the cue I play with to my wife for Valentines day a few years back. If I sold it. She would spend the money on jewelry or something silly. Leaving me with nothing tom play with. Larry

    South Bend Heavy 10

Guess it would depend on what chuck you use. I have a 6 jaw set true chuck on mine. At high speed the lathe has a bit of a wobble. With the much lighter SB 3 jaw chuck it may be just fine with the risers.

    South Bend Heavy 10

I have one and love it. First thing I would do is get rid of the risers. Larry

    Secondary market anomaly?

That narrows it down a bit. Still would help to know which makers you are curious about. You asked about recently nonactive makers. It's normal for prices to drop before they start to rise. If they start to rise. Larry

    Secondary market anomaly?

Way to general of a question to answer here. Best to ask why cuemaker X cues are selling for less. Some cuemakers are a dick or have built crappy cues. This would explain both why they are nonactive and their cues sell for less. Larry

    Lowballing prices

I would not consider 25% off an insulting offer. Most think 10% is figured in the price to negotiate down. With all the negotiating on TV these days starting at 25% and working to 10% is the norm. Before anyone thinks to offer 90% of my asking prices. I don't discount! See it's easy to set...

    Just curious

Use pure soft silver. The seams just blend together. This is my second attempt at using silver. With a little practice I hope to get it seamless. Larry

    CNC Owners

I am not a fan of having one machine for turning and inlay. I want an inlay machine to be as accurate and repeatable as I can afford. With a recut fixture on the rotary. Don't want to wear it out tapering. I want a taper machine with a dead on drive center and cheap to replace parts. I put a...
