My first lathe, the one with 20” between centers, had a 7/8” bore. I took the head stock apart and deduce I could bore it to 1.125. Which was enough to do joint work. So I braised a piece of carbide to a piece of pipe and bored the hole. Worked pretty well. Larry

Polyisocynates(actiavator) is absorbed through your eyes and attacks your nervous system. Solvents are absorbed through your skin and attack your liver.

It’s doable, don’t get in a hurry and use a very stable wood as a core.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. The test tips I tried were excellent. I am so looking forward to getting good triangles again. They used to be my favorite. The fact that it's taking so long, to me, seems like they are taking the problems seriously. If not they would just say" it's fixed"...
