There are a few in the northeast and one here in Texas that I have played on. To my knowledge, Chinese 8 ball is played on 9' tables. it might be easier & cheaper to find a 10' snooker table and just play on that.

Seems like almost all snooker players today still play with wooden shafts. I find that quite interesting being that ball pocketing is considered superior to pool.
