Brunswick GC5 Tournament Edition - Subrail extensions + cushions

If you want 4.125" corners, you want the pockets cut to 139° but you will lose a little shelf in the process; can't avoid that. Here's a shot of my GCI. Corners are 4.125" cut to 139° and the sides are cut to 4.875" at 103° (if I recall correctly). Don't forget the down angle which is very...

Disassembling and moving a pool table

Diamonds are generally moved using a special cart. If you were to get one, it would be best to hire a mechanic familiar with Diamonds to properly move the table. The table is loaded onto the cart, feet removed (or not) transported to the new location and installed/checked for level. I'm not...

    3/8" facing vs subrail extension

It's not a difficult process to visualize. Existing cushions are removed, wood is added to the end of the subrails at the pocket opening, added wood is cut to the contour of the subrail, pockets are cut to the desired size and angle, cushions are installed and trimmed and pocket facings are...

Can anyone help/advise on my Brunswick Gold Crown 9??

Can you walk me through what was done to the rails? They came from the factory with Formica. Was it removed? If so, what was it replaced with?

What do you guys think of this estimate?

Don't forget fuel costs too. That varies WIDELY across the ocuntry. We have no idea how far this guy has to drive to do the work.

Can anyone help/advise on my Brunswick Gold Crown 9??

What was done to it 20 years ago? Some features indicate it is a Gold Crown I but the GCI never came with piano black rails and aprons. It looks like all the metal work was chrome plated too.

What do you guys think of this estimate?

Shipping rails is an expensive proposition and you need to build a crate for them to ensure they don't get damaged.
