    8 Foot Diamond Rail Problem

Curious. Do you break regularly when you play on your table?

    Pro Cut Pockets

It will rattle on tables with pockets cut too wide. It will rattle on most Olhausen tables with stock cut pockets.

Line up 3 balls frozen to each other and the rail just past the side pocket. Hit the cue ball at break speed. The 3rd ball will drop, at break speed along the rail. This of course is assuming no one has altered the pockets from the factory cut or stacked any facings.

"Facings favor spitting the ball out rather than letting the ball drop" No, I do not work for Diamond. In fact, I'm a Gold Crown guy. I'm just not a fan of misinformation.

    Pro Cut Pockets

Your statement is untrue. If you hit a ball break speed down the rail and directly into the facing the ball drops on a Diamond table. It will not rattle.

    Pro Cut Pockets

    8 Foot Diamond Rail Problem

How much cleaning solution do you use and what are you using to clean the balls? That section of the cushion gets a lot of action from break shots. More so than other areas of the table. It's not so much dirt that accumulates there, but residual cleaner deposits on the rails from the balls...

    8 Foot Diamond Rail Problem

Ideally, you want to avoid the water weeping through the cloth and getting the rubber wet so don't soak it! Again, very, very damp microfiber cloth and let it dry thoroughly prior to playing.

    8 Foot Diamond Rail Problem

Take a very, very damp cloth and clean the cushion nose cloth on that rail.

Would love to buy a diamond pool ball cleaner

Before I built my Gold Crown Ball Polisher, I did this on my old bucket cleaner. It doesn't look the greatest, but it was effective.
