Me, I'd buy longer rails and do my 3.25 holes. It's the <other guys> I wanna beat up.And if you really want to beat yourself up for $600 extra you can get 4.25.
Not true. Balls pocket as they should but the deep shelf on the Diamond tends to hold balls up that rub the rail on the way in if not hit at pocket speed. It means they act tighter than they look. Facings favor spitting the ball out rather than letting the ball drop. The funnel is also longer giving the facings an advantage.
It's just marketing. You see guys can pot from anywhere. You don't see the diminishing accuracy as shots get further out. Players need to shoot the shot line itself. You know, where the ball actually goes?

putting snooker size wickets on a pool table is a joke. it fundamentally changes they way the game is played. turns into nothing but cinch pool.Me, I'd buy longer rails and do my 3.25 holes. It's the <other guys> I wanna beat up.![]()
I don't see any true or false to it. Ball speed and climate also factor in. The ball drops or not.Not true. Balls pocket as the should but the deep shelf on the Diamond tends to hold balls up that rub the rail on the way in if not hit at pocket speed.
BECAUSE it highlights the incompetence in the game. The last thing they wanna do is look like dogs. Besides, and wickets is a good term here, are easier than the wonder boobies on snooker pockets.putting snooker size wickets on a pool table is a joke. it fundamentally changes they way the game is played. turns into nothing but cinch pool.
Your statement is untrue. If you hit a ball break speed down the rail and directly into the facing the ball drops on a Diamond table. It will not rattle.I don't see any true or false to it. Ball speed and climate also factor in. The ball drops or not.

"Facings favor spitting the ball out rather than letting the ball drop"Did I say everything will jaw? You work for Diamond?![]()
I meant of course rattling the pocket. Hitting deep enough into the lone open facing will end up in the hole."Facings favor spitting the ball out rather than letting the ball drop"
No, I do not work for Diamond. In fact, I'm a Gold Crown guy. I'm just not a fan of misinformation.
