The thing that has sold me over the years is just how fantastic this Gus feels in the hands when you hit some balls with it. I have had the pleasure to shoot with several other Gus Szambotis over the years and they all have that "feel"

I think this confirms the range I was given in this forum for my cue of $13,000-$16,000. It would be very educational for the group if more of the sold prices were revealed so everyone could learn

My Gus was in the $400 range in the mid 1970's and that was for a fancy one. Taking the 5 to 1 ratio gives a value of $2000 today only taking inflation into account. However, there are many other factors to consider such as Gus made only a small number of fancy cues and he has passed on so he is...

The inflation calculator shows the multiple for 1975 to 2021 is 4.96 so it is very close to 5 times more

I would estimate a value of around $11,500 if it has 3 shafts and $10,500 if it has only 2 shafts

You should get a lot of private messages about this cue. I received a few hundred on mine along with a lot of help out in the open in this forum. Good looking cue!
