Replacing the slate on Brunswick GC5 TE to get some shelf

How can that GC5 be a tournament edition, looks like it has 5” buckets. After your mod it looks close to 4.5”

I launched my nationwide pool hall finder today

I just went on ABA and they also show Pick Pocket as open with a facebook link. I clicked on the link, the last FB entry was from June 2024. I should have called before I drove there to confirm they are open for business. Looks like no one updates info when a room closes.

I launched my nationwide pool hall finder today

GoPlayPool is a sticky thread here in AZ. I just searched Big Spring Tx and they show Picket Pocket as open. They aren’t any better than Google.

I launched my nationwide pool hall finder today

I've been to three pool halls that Google said were open. When I got there, they were closed and boarded up. The latest one was in Big Spring Tx. Google doesn't always work

Tight 4.5 Inch Pockets Vs Loose 4.5 Inch Pockets

Tell Matchroom to stop with 4" pockets. Even Diamond now has a factory option for 4" pockets. We're about to start construction on our new house. I'm going back and forth about pocket size, 4 1/8 or 4 1/4. It will be my practice table so leaning towards 4 1/8 unless I find a used table that's 4...

Tight 4.5 Inch Pockets Vs Loose 4.5 Inch Pockets

GC4 didn’t come with 4.5” pockets. My GC4 was shimmed to 4.5” so I imagine that there’s inconsistency with Brunswick and the person who shimmed the pockets. The shimmed pockets also have the wrong pocket angles, also new cloth makes it play easier.

    US Open 1pocket pathetic turnout....????

Buffalo’s entry fee is $2000, the last time I played Derby it was $220. Buff’s tournament is up to 44 players with that $2000 entry fee.

How do these diamond tables play so badly? vid

Not with a normal stroke. You’d have to be using a masse stroke and I don’t think anyone talking about Diamonds is using masse on every shot;)

    Clicks in Orlando FL

Clicks north has four 9’ blue label Procut Diamond tables. Nice room, no action that I saw. Racks is the place for action. Eight blue label 9’ Diamonds, ProCut and some tighter.

Getting a object ball to follow thru?

About 30 years ago I had a lesson with Mark Wilson in St. Louis, he said there's top spin and there's Pro Top Spin. He hit the CB pretty dam high.

Getting a object ball to follow thru?

Draw only helps when the two balls are close together, otherwise the object ball just needs natural roll.
