Pool Table on Vinyl Laminate Floorting - Questions???

I just had my diamond table installed on a vinyl laminate floor and I don't see any issues so far. The only thing I do notice is the table moves a little easier on the floor than I would like (it still takes a good effort though). I would put an anti slip material between the legs and the floor...

Table debate: Brunswick Monticello vs Gibson

I have no opinion on those tables, however the advice I give is to buy the table you really want, even if that means waiting a bit so you can save up the funds to get the table you really want. Don't settle on either of those tables just because you can afford it now. Once you get a table its...

    Referee/Rules Question

If I was asked to judge a shot like that I would have said up-front it looks like the ball is frozen to the rail before the shot was taken. Once you are asked to referee, I believe that includes the entire shot, just not one component of it.

    APA rules question

They way you are phrasing your question and the way you challenging anyone who disagrees with your opinion make it seem like you came here on a "I am right" mission looking for people you can point at to validate your opinion. Some people are not buying the altruistic virtue of you just wanting...

    APA rules question

If you brought a cue to be used for jump shots it is considered a jump cue and can't be used. The rule is clear as day no matter how much you try and muddy it up. Rules can't dictate personal integrity (ie true intentions of the cue)

    APA rules question

I feel the intent of the rule is pretty clear. They don't want people switching to a different cue just for jump shots. If you have a cue in your bag that you intend to use mostly / only for jump shots that cue shouldn't be used. The rule about being able to switch cues during matches is there...

Precautions when standing on table (diamond)

I am at 45" off the table height. I was using the 78" from the floor I got off diamonds website. I knew it was a little low, but I need to modify the cables to be able to get it higher. I figured I could fix it sometime in the future, I just really wanted to get it up so it didn't get damaged...

Precautions when standing on table (diamond)

I am getting a 7ft diamond proam installed this weekend. I tried to layout the room using tape and etc, but I can't seem to figure out the exact center of where the table is going to be due to some of the walls. I had a 8ft table in the room previously so I know its going to fit, however I don't...

Brunswick purchases Kentucky company, moves all operations to Mexico..

you can deduce from that article that it was sold because it wasn't being profitable. The plant was over staffed and running at 1/2 capacity due to the decline of bowling ball sales over the years. They had value in the intellectual property and they sold that for what they could get before...
