How Many Miss Mr3Cushion, Comments or Knowledges??

I've always been a big proponent of trying to simplify shots in 3 cushion billiards. One of the ways I figured out around the early 80's was 'Half Ball Shots'. Especially when applying 'Vertical English' on the CB. Here's a common shot that arises in a game several times in 50 points. I...

    IS DARRELL MARTINEAU

He was a nice, pleasant guy. About a 0.650-0.700 player. His book was interesting. Had a bad 'rug' like Arnie Satin.

How Many Miss Mr3Cushion, Comments or Knowledges??

I've been living in Cocoa Beach for the last 20 years. I'm not sure about the OP's intention. My 'Username' is Mr3Cushion! I also feel I'm pretty knowledgeable about the game of 3 cushion after playing for 60 years!

    Horizontal Draw

Joe, You're 100% Correct! To add, 5 or 7 O'clock English will have More Draw than Spin! Also, 4 or 8 O'clock English will have More Spin than Draw! It's all about the Predominant Axis!

I assume for being a 'Silver' member it's a person/member that's been on this forum for a certain amount of time. A 'Gold' member pays an additional 'Monthly or Annually fee for extra 'Perks'! BTW, would 'I' know you as a 'Well Known' in the Cue games world/industry?

How is this diagram going to inform anyone?
  17. mr3cushion

    Horizontal Draw

All depends on the 'Angle of attack' into the 1st rail! Top 3C players understand All aspects of effect on the CB and its reactions into the cushions! Three cushion shots require 'Combinations of Sidespin' 95% of the time.
  18. mr3cushion

    Horizontal Draw

Well, 'I' Know what I'm talking about! And there is NO way 3 O'clock or 9 O'clock can turn into 'Draw'! No matter what angle the CB goes into a cushion! 'Sidespin'/'Extreme Horizontal Axios of the CB' can 'Only produce' 'Running English or Reverse English' when it rebounds off the rail!

All this conversation and no one can post an 'Accurate diagram' depicting the OP's thoughts! Not even him!

    Horizontal Draw

Getting the CB back for the 8 ball in the corner by pocketing the 5 ball where it sits require NO 'stroke' at all! The 'Diagramed' shot can be played with 'Med-soft' speed/9 O'clock English to come across the table.
