    Practicing via Feel Only

Obviously, You don't know too much about the History of the progression of the 'Small games to 3C' in the US from the 1900's-40's! In 63 I started with 'Straight rail' then on to 18.2 Balkline for about 2-21/2 years with some 3C mixed in! Practicing 4-5 hrs. a day. I was taught by Men who...

    Practicing via Feel Only

I said small tables used to play the 'Small' games on 8' and 9' tables is easier and good to practice on first. Top 3c players going from 10'-9' tables, series of, 7, 8 and 9's are common place!

From the 1920-1960, 98% of European players of could not avg 1.00! In the US the Top 7-10 players did average 1.0 or better. During the 60's and 70's 3C had a lull in the game in the US. DP didn't avg 0.700 in 68, maybe later in the late 80's, early 90's.

    Practicing via Feel Only

I proposed this notion 40 years ago! A Top player knows how to divide the table into 'Sections' without diamonds! The weaker players depend much more on 'Systematic' info more than Pro's.

    What would You do?

Here's what I'll do, with You or Anyone in this thread. I'll Bet a Minimum of $500.00 USD on this statement! "A UMB Referee 'Can Not inform/Advise' the Shooter that they are about to 'Shoot the Wrong Ball'! "The Opponent, if He chooses 'May or May Not' inform the player before He shoots!"...

    What would You do?

Entirely different situation! UMB Refs make mistakes, especially in the 'Prelims' of World Cups and Grand Prix event! MZ called a 'No point scored' on Himself!

So, 'My' Actual experience in World 3C events isn't good enough for You! Ok. The 'Interpretation' is bad!

    What would You do?

I've played 3C for over 60 at a Top level, I've played in several International/World events! Other than in Local tournaments I've never seen an 'Official Ref' call the foul on the shooting player in this Exact example! BTW, do You play 3C?
  19. mr3cushion

    What would You do?

You missed the 'Key' word, If during the inning or in the course of a serie the referee states that the player does not play with his ball (indicated by "wrong ball"); That would be 'Any points past a 'Single point'! The match is to 50, the score is 49-49!

    What would You do?

The 'Ref' Can Not make the call!
