    Problems playing certain people

In my mind I never lose to anyone, I either beat myself by failing to play a great safe or miss a runout ect. or I am successful and I win, there is a small percentage of luck when breaking in this game but if I get to shoot then I have the opportunity to control my fate at the table, if I am...

Right english results on the oldest pool drill

I had the same problem, found out I was right eye dominant, look up the test, it's easy and you will know as soon as you take the test, I now cue with my right eye over the cue shaft as opposed to my nose, I wish words could explain what a difference it has made in my shot making ability, the...

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

I agree, I work on all of those things, I still do the "straight stroke" drills, I have a pre-shot routine, I figure after about 100 years I won't have to work on them any longer ;)

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

Thanks for the kind words, I wanted to share what has helped me more than anything I've learned so far in pool, it seems common sense that your eye must give your brain an accurate picture so that it can make the proper calculations.

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

NOPE, not the problem for me, I work on this as well, Phil Cappelle has in his book Eye Brain Arm, if the eye gives the brain bad info you will struggle, check out Dr. Dave's billiards MOFUDAT

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

Yes, that was the problem, when sighting centered on the cue it looked perfectly straight but when practicing the "straight stroke " drill the cue ball would always go to the right, my thought was that I wasn't seeing the true center of the cue ball so I compensated by hitting the cue ball just...

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

All I can say is after changing to lining up my dominant eye over the cue shaft for the last month my ability to pocket balls improved so much that my team captain made a point of it, to each his own but I see many pro's sight down the cue in many different places, wish I had learned this years...

    "HOW Flash" Carbon Fiber Shaft?....

I've had ONE round of chalk last a year and half and is still going, I got my table 7 months ago and practice EVERY day for at least an hour and use it where ever I shoot, so far they are "taking my money" to the tune of less than $2.00 a month, I can't speak for others but the TOAM V10 chalk is...

    "HOW Flash" Carbon Fiber Shaft?....

I said I would never spend $20 on 1 piece of chalk and I didn't, I got it for $10 so I could get free shipping, that chalk is a 1 1/2 years old and is still going, It is cleaner as advertised and works great, TAOM V10, worth every penny.

What tip you do you play with?

I have been trying different tips for the last year, too many to count, really liked the Kamui Athlete tip, wanted to try one more tip before I committed to the Kamui as my go to tip, the TAOM Fusion tip is a hybrid tip like the Kamui Athlete, I figured they would play similar but I was...

In bar table eight ball, do you deliberately miss shots?

I NEVER miss a shot unless the pocket moves right when I strike the cue ball, I hate it when that happens.

What the pros do differently ...

I have to disagree, I find the pro's hit center ball more often, I define draw and follow as center ball, and define striking the ball off center as "english" or sidespin, I think some shots appear as a draw shot when it is really a stun shot coming off a rail, pro's understand the pocket line...

Dominant Eye before any aiming system

I'll agree with you and you may have stated it better than I did, I guess the main thing I was trying to point out is I played for years and didn't even know about dominant eye or vision center, understanding this could be a break through for a lot of people like it was for me.
