1990 US Open Sigel & Varner - 5 Inch Pockets

Dipoolmacy. These old guys were used to presiding over the brung what followed you home dog show. How would they do in the World Kennel Club? Some may rise many would fold. There was a Gary Busey line from some show I can't recall - " Look at the fire power:devilish:" I think they lost anyway -...

    What killed the slip stroke?

I don't see a need for a special or sequential distinction. They can be defined in as much detail as your publisher wants but there are only two of 'em. The first one is well known and the new one is a toss stroke that has to be caught - technically a slip. Here's the logic as offered by KPY...

A New Pool game...? Yes... Look inside...

Not your business genius here but anybody think that gadget would actually fly? Hopefully he went back to the drawing board.

    What killed the slip stroke?

I consider it a grammatical thing. Adverb first. SS1 SS2 would do. You could say toss stroke - stick is hurled ( :ROFLMAO: ) at the cue ball and slip stroke (the inert stick is released to set the backhand) would retain the original reference. :p

Yapp winning, with a foul! Just like Maradona making a goal with his hands :D

9 moved first. Different kind of foul. The only possibility for Django was the CB grazed the 3B at 89.999 degrees before hitting the 9B and caroming full into the 3B. The overhead seemed to show too much clearance for any kind of graze.

Fedor Gorst on the Joe Rogan podcast today

Established in the pool community for sure. Although, without tenure - earned respect etc..., it's no walk in the park.

Fedor Gorst on the Joe Rogan podcast today

Fedor's gotta go best foot (bets foot? lol) forward until he gets established and accepted; something I think he's aware of. I think that provides positive channeling as far as learning pool goes. Bets Foot Forward - should be on t-shirts.

1990 US Open Sigel & Varner - 5 Inch Pockets

I imagine anyone winning stuff was no stranger to itty bitty pockets. There is probably a relative deluge of ready and able now. This might up the requirements into the fail zone for the old champs.

    What killed the slip stroke?

It's mostly bicep give or take the wrist snap. Could be perceived as more linear. Might be useful for those using the Hopkins delivery.

    What killed the slip stroke?

Removes the cue distortion at the back of the stroke for one. Just a guess.

Yapp winning, with a foul! Just like Maradona making a goal with his hands :D

All in unison with the cueball. When the CB is shot out of frame, then it's a foul. lol

    What killed the slip stroke?

I think it was the discovery of contact points. :ROFLMAO:
