    WWYD Dec28

For me , low left. For anyone else, it depends on their level. For a banger I would say make the 7 and bank the 8.

Rhino shaft buyers, let 'er rip.......

Honest question...If you use a shaft with a 12 inch pivot point but shoot with a 18 inch pivot point: Does deflection increase, decrease, or move to infinity?

    Old pool table cloth

Many folks throw away old pool table cloth. I have several work benches in my garage and barn that are now covered with old washed cloth. I like the way it keeps a finished look in these areas. Anyone else have uses for old cloth?

When Working on Your Fundamentals - Maximum Number of Key Thoughts You Can Work On at One Time

Absolutely. Many commenters here stated things like "concentrate on speed, follow thru, and straightness". Well 3 things are plenty but if you add an OBJECT BALL you are adding 3 or more things to think about, like spot on the ball, quiet eye, shot angle. ShootingArts has it right.

The TOP Quality maple for shafts source area is?

I found that while making shafts it was very important to turn a shaft down a little every month or so. While in this process some shafts vibrated more than others while spinning on the lathe. The ones that did not vibrate at each of these steps ended up being the best.

The TOP Quality maple for shafts source area is?

The first photo is the starting point. The 2nd is where the 4 ball ended up close to the 5 ball. When I shot this the 4 ball hit the 3rd rail about 6 inches below the side pocket, then hit the short rail and ended up above the 5 ball. The cue ball moved a few inches forward and stopped by the...

    WWYD 9 Ball Dec22

I will try your medium/high shot...there is a pretty good window to get on the 5. In my example the 3 rail was closer to the side pocket and the 4 ball ended above the 5.

    WWYD 9 Ball Dec22

I don't know if this cheating but I went to my table to try before answering. After several attempts with little success I realized this WWYD lead me down a familiar and disastrous trail...thinking aggressive. The easy solution is shoot directly at the 4 ball, directly to the short rail, long...

The TOP Quality maple for shafts source area is?

Why is Canadian Rock Hard Maple best for shafts. It is very dense, which to me means heavy and that to me means more deflection.

    Low Deflection Shafts (History Question)

In the late 80's Bob Muecci came to Starcher Billiards in Akron, Ohio showcasing his low deflection shafts. He personally demonstrated it to me on a table. I was playing with a Szamboti at the time and was a hard sale. But I did buy one later and really liked it.
