Not to be a nit, but I think you mean "prescribed." Ironically, using "proscribed" would have the opposite effect.

From my perspective, your question could have been taken as a challenge. Sometimes writing is hard to interpret and some of us have been challenging him. If he knew you better he might not think as such. You are usually a fuzz ball.:)

I have to say I'm rather shocked at your indignation toward the digiball(?) gizmo. It seems like a legit device. Stan has been peddling verifiable bullshit aiming methods for 20 years and you've never once called him out on it. I know you are a very smart guy so it never made sense to me.

I think this is a bad comparison. Shooting stretched out and touching nearby balls makes the shot easier, and one he might not take at all knowing he better not touch any balls. . In this case, the foul of not calling the combo had no impact on the difficulty of the shot. I think both things...
