Could a B player run 100 balls on the world record table?

With all respect to lil chris I've watched him enough to know he plays at about my level and is not an A player. He is a B+.

Could a B player run 100 balls on the world record table?

I'm talking about all time high run here. Not just average run, I bet if you take a B player and put them on this table for a week vs your average table at a pool hall their high run will be significantly higher.

Could a B player run 100 balls on the world record table?

Not if you get straight on a ball on the head short rail that would have been playable for position if the pockets were 5 inches instead of 4.25....

Could a B player run 100 balls on the world record table?

Its not just making the ball its the ability to cheat the pocket when you get out of position, Not to mention when the side pocket is huge how much easier to becomes to run balls. I would say that an average B player's high run would be twice as long on these tables for this reason. My high...

Could a B player run 100 balls on the world record table?

I have to say I think yes... Lol. This world record stuff is a joke with concocted conditions. Its like lets try to set the record for the lowest round in golf by making the easiest golf course ever....

2022 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

Ok, that must be it then. I don't like breaking from the side in 6-ball because the balls seem to cluster up more. Try breaking like an inch from the center and cross over hitting the other side of the one ball. I think you will get better layouts that way.

Wow that table is fast or is it your break is huge or both? The corner ball takes off like there is a bomb under it when you break.

2022 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

On Jan 3 I beat the 9-ball ghost 4 times. I think 7-5 each time. Here is a video of one of the wins: The table is 8.5' Gandy 4.25" corner pockets and 4.75" side pockets. The pocket shelf is not deep. I used a wooden rack. And the cloth is really old. Getting a good rack on old cloth...

    Diamond Professional 8' Questions

Drawing to the long rail one rail with too much angle. It is impossible to hold the cue ball like you can do on any normal table and you have to draw it 2 rails instead. Also, when you end up with too much angle cutting a ball into the corner pocket down the long rail and want to go 2 rails...

    Diamond Professional 8' Questions

Artemis is too fast for a 8 footer. Your table will end up with 1 rail shots that should be possible that are impossible.

    10 foot table too fast

I have a 100 year old 6 let Brunswick Regent with Simonis 860 that is relatively new. If you do the standard speed test shot it goes 6.5 table lengths with a firm (not even close to as hard as possible, as this would launch the ball off the table) stroke. Also, if you kick the cueball hard...

    Lifting and pool performance

I think I play much better if I fast walk 30 minutes a day (before playing). It seems to wake me up better and make me much more mentally and physically alert.

How do you guys handle the loud music at pool halls?

Get some of those noise canceling earphones. I don't use them but my friend sometimes does and its like he is deaf when they are on.

Back swing - pause/no pause is focusing on the wrong area of the stroke!

Today I was at the pool hall and an old touring pro who is a regular (Mark Maryo) from the 80-90s was playing and I realized where I had seen before what Tin Man was talking about here. When you watch his stroke the final delivery looks similar to bustamantes in videos. It is totally smooth...

    9 Ball Safety Rule

No it is not a crazy rule because without it (see the recent 'do you prefer draw or follow' thread) you could just call safe, make the 8 ball and leave them glued to the rail. The main idea is you need to control both balls for a safety this way, not just the CB after pocketing.

New game to help with safes.

3 foul is banned in all of the amateur tournaments around here because every ball in hand some people will spend 5 minutes trying to think of how to 3 foul someone.

141 or 140 Degree Corner Pockets

I am having a 8.5' table built. The corner pockets will have somewhere between 1.75" and 2.0" shelf (I have no control over this). I want 4.25" corner pockets. The question is should I have them cut to 141 or 140 degrees? I want them to play like a Pro-Cut Diamond in terms of what speeds...
