Best tip for diamond bar boxes

I know its me not adjusting good but at this point its basically a fact that changing the tip helps me control speed better on these tables...so its more than just 'thinking'. You can also say this to alex pagulyan who uses a different cue with a different tip for playing rotation vs...

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

Missing the balls is not a problem. I have throw and swerve down. Its keeping good control of the cueball.

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

I agree with everything you said except the tip on different conditions. There is no question it helps me some to have a soft tip on smaller, fast conditions.

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

I'm not as bad as you think these are diamond bar boxes with cloth faster than 760 on a humid boingy day.

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

When you purposely start setting up to go an extra rail on these tables you are playing with fire. Obviously an extra rail kills the ball.... the thing is I'm playing 8-ball and going an extra rail all the time isnt a good option. Do you think I really am so dumb I dont know what an extra rail...

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

Going an extra rail on these tables is suicide (unless it happens naturally). If you get too much angle the cueball is lost 100% for sure nothing you can do. You want to go one rail every chance you get.

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

This is the biggest problem I have with switching the tips. The switch really helps my finesse on roll and stun shots but my draw speed is much worse.

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

The thing is I play well enough to win tournaments on the 3030 diamond bar boxes. Its just that I'm constantly out of line and making (recovery) shots vs 860 diamond bb where I can stay in line. If I dont switch shafts (tips) though there is no hope I overhit them so bad no recovery is...

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

The thing is this cloth is so damn fast compared to 860 which I've played on all my life. Add in fast diamond rails that are boinging a little from humidity and a small table and I just tend to overhit anything I try to finesse. Its really irritating.

Best tip for diamond bar boxes

When playing on some diamond bar boxes I have speed control issues but others I do not. The ones with the 860 I am fine. The ones with the 3030 I constantly overrun positions. When on a 9 footer (brunswick or diamond) or 860 diamond bb I use a thinner predator victory medium (medium-hard)...

    uniloc QR stuck

I kept trying and trying and eventually it came apart. I think when it did budge i put a little sideways pressure on it which made it unstick.

    DigitalPool and cheaters

I witnessed this happen this week at a weekly 9-ball tournament. So I'm sitting at a table playing my match and another players girlfriend is sitting at the table watching her boyfriend play a race to 3 9-ball match. The whole match he was going off about how 9-ball is a luck game and his...

Why Do So Many Bar Room Recreational 8-Ball Players Cling to the Nonsense Outdated Rules?

Lots of crappy players just make up rules as they go along trying to win off any BS thing they can think of.
