When I was buying the Tungsten set, the $100 set was not available, unfortunately. While they play good, the Tungstens are not easy on the eyes. Id let mine go cheap but I'd probably lose on shipping, lol.

I'll snag some better pics under brighter lighting in a bit. It's less brown than it appears. Damn does it hit good though.

I bought the least expensive set of Tungstens I could find and they get used here and there. Ugly colors but for the money impossible to beat. They do stay clean.

I feel the humidity level would affect the table speed and cushions more than just the temp. I like it comfortable year round, whether using heat or A/C, but always aim for sub 50% humidity.

I'll take that into consideration. It's a ways off, so I have some time before investing the $$$.

Anybody keep an extra set of rails, castings and aprons? Thinking of tracking down a set for my GC4 so I can have MG rework them with Artemis @ 4" pockets, and swap tops from time to time, or have a backup set. Crazy?

I transported my slates flat with slats between them to keep them supported. Then stored them upright against a wall for a few months until the room was ready.

I lift every day at 4am and still see no negative impact on shooting pool. Soreness goes away after a few racks, if you are sore. If anything, I can imagine better core strength can't hurt.
