    rail work and UPS

I insured my GC4 rails for $5000 dollars when I shipped them to Mark, lol. At least if they got lost on the way I'd have a chance at coming out ok.

    Arcos II or Tournament Black

Arcos 2 set is nice. Forget the Black set.

    tightened gold crown

Setup shooting the combo past the side pocket? Just curious as I'd like to try. Nevermind, appears on YouTube it's setup in front of the side pocket, not shooting past the side pocket.

    tightened gold crown

I believe when you change old Monarch cushions to newer cushions on older GC (1 and 2) you do lose a 1/4" each way. I'm sure a more experienced and knowledgeable person will chime in to verify or debunk. But I believe I've read that on here quite a few times.

    tightened gold crown

I had Mark Gregory rework my GC4 rails to Pro Cut pockets at 141, 4.5" with 4.75" sides at 102 and it plays tough but fair. Wouldn't trade it. Plays so good all around. Last picture has the balls set back quite far. But it is 4.75" sides.

    Nice. Looks good!

Mosconi cup not shown on Matchroom live? I don't get it.

If it makes you feel any better, my DAZN app went from not working to a snail crawl, barely loading. Not sure what's up.

Jeremy Jones taking over for Earl on team

I've had Covid and it sucked, had three very bad days out of the 14 days I stayed home. It was much like the flu, with the exception of the taste and smell thing. Only lost some tastes and smells. Never had an issue breathing, but couldn't take a huge breath. The last time I had the flu I had...

Gray Cloth at the Mosconi Cup

Least the cloth will slide for a day or three. Should be interesting to watch for sure!

    Diamond or Rasson?

Shelf depth not sure on either. I believe Diamond uses 141 degree. Rasson should copy it lol. If they already don't. Pro cut pocket is awesome.

Thoughts on Quality of Connley Ultimate w/ 2” Slates?

I bet it's sturdy AF. My only concern would be moving that heavy SOB, lol. And if the pockets are "furniture table-esque" or not. I never see any comments on pocket size or angles.

    Home pool room floor?

Yes. You wouldn't believe how much I agonized over measurements before starting the build, lol. Table is 114" long from end to end. So since the ball is on the 100" playing surface itleaves about 10" of possible stroke space if your frozen to the rail shooting straight. Worked out good!

    Home pool room floor?

19' 7" square after furring out the walls.

    Pool Table @ Home Question

I looked and looked for a table and found a GC4 for $2200 about 4 hours away. Went and got it because all the other 2's or 3's I found were trashed, or too far away. One GC2 I found had tight pockets (4") I believe, but couldn't confirm it was subrail extensions, and it was still $2k. I have...

    Home pool room floor?

I put the tiles down when finishing out the room. Then moved the table in and set the slates and rails on it to compress them for a week. Them got the mechanic to finish the install a few weeks later.

    Home pool room floor?

Carpet tiles. Easy to install, easy to replace if you mess on up.

    Gold Crown VI

It's absolutely ruined me, in the best way, lol.

    Gold Crown VI

Yessir. Shipped my rails to him and they are perfect, as the name implies. Pro cut, new cushions, 4.5" and plays real nice.

141 or 140 Degree Corner Pockets

I have 141 on my GC4 @ 4.5" and it's plenty fair but also can be difficult if your a touch off.

    Custom lights

I removed the 4 HO T12 lamps and ballast in my fixture and put ballast bypass LED in their place. Got them frosted and then out an egg crate style diffuser to remove glare. BTW, those lights above look real good...
