    My Home Pool Room Journey

Order a sample of those. The ones with the cream color stain hella bad with just regular traffic. Black and grey will hide everything better. I ended up using the Midnight color. And let the glue dry for a bit so you can peel them up later if one gets ruined. If you put them down right after...

How do I tel if I need new rubber

I had a new set of Superspeed cushions installed when I had Mark rework my GC4. Didn't even question if they were good, just shipped my rails with a new set to him so that when it got installed everything was as new as it could be. I'd just replace them, if for no reason other than spending $$$...

    My Home Pool Room Journey

Good point. No sense in doing the ceiling twice. I did have to use 4" wide furring strips to have something to mount my ceiling too and to hold up my insulation. One upside is it was the same number of strips for drywall or metal ceiling.

    My Home Pool Room Journey

Looking good! Hell of a deadline... For ceiling finishing I used 5V crimp roof in a galvanized finish. I didn't want to deal with sheetrock overhead and the future 'possible' hassle of that over my table. Cost was roughly $800 (last August-ish) plus screws. And check Wayfair for carpet tiles.

In depth semi-custom JB Case Review

Nice review! Only case I'll use. Sold off my 4ish year old 3x6 for a 4x8. The one I sold looked unused, except for wear on the zipper pulls. To be expected. Impossible to beat for $$$.

    Cloth

Also Championship Tour 3030. Used it on a Valley barbox for league play and it's "Simonis-esque" but a tad more slick, imo. Still quick and true though.

Need help with a Valley table.

I forgot to mention that part. It did have some old cloth on the center supports. I just left that alone. So far so good. Time will tell I suppose. I know the 3030 is real fast.

Need help with a Valley table.

The Dynamo I put new cloth on had the cloth tucked under the slate and balls rolled away from the rails. I cut the cloth flush with the slate. Put some glue on the area that the rails hide, and the side of the slate and it has held. Rolls better now, but could be table dependent. I'm not a...

What is the best pool table?

Love a Gold Crown IV with reworked angles, biased because I own one. But I'd play on either a GC or a Pro-Am without a gripe.

Diamond league vs pro cut pockets for 9ft pro am

Played on many Pro Cut Diamonds and my GC4 has diamond angles, and pro cut pockets, but with Superspeed rubber. Obviously it's not a Diamond, but it plays plenty tough. When you're hitting them bad, you know immediately, but when you're hitting them good it's an unrivaled feeling. Even have a...

    Table Cameras

I've been through two inexpensive cameras, both had exposure issues, and actually quit recording past 15 seconds, even when using corrective software. Made the balls impossible to see with blue cloth a bright table light. I bought an adjustable arm phone mount and just use my Pixel 4XL. It's got...

Pool Table Light for 7' and 9'

The light fixture that came with the table I bought had four 8' HO T12 lamps. I put ballast bypass LED in there, 5000k and it's great light. Even added diffusers to the light. $80 for the lamps, if I'd had to build the box that held the fixtures, maybe $100, plus the actual fixtures at $55/each...

Pro pool player's vs transgender athlete's

Sure. I dont think the powers that be would allow it though. I can see having the two different professional leagues, like all sports have, but mixed events should be a non issue for something like pool, darts, curling, archery, shooting sports, etc. Leave the heavy lifting sports separate.

Pro pool player's vs transgender athlete's

I don't believe so. If you play good, you play good.
