I don't really agree with that . The geometry of the olhausen pockets are known to be wrong, (Olhausen has even admitted to it )and will rattle cleanly hit balls. A clean hit ball on a Diamond will fall.
Even the biggest Diamond hater on here doesn't agree with your opinion.
But you have...
Those Anniversary table are nice but I refuse to pay what they want for one around here if you can find one. There was a 10' Snooker table version for sale recently and they wanted 6500 for it.
My problem with current ball fouls only is that a person can bet too used to it and it will really mess you up if you play somewhere that's all ball fouls.
I know our local league( that doesn't exist now as the pool hall closed) they used to play cue ball fouls all season, but when finals...
No , but that's because I don't drink. I have been bought a can of Pepsi by my losing opponent at a tournament . It was a very good game though.
Either way nowadays depending where I'm at or if I know the guyor girl , I think I would want to watch the bartender pour it and hand it to me .
I went the opposite way. Went from a 21 down to a 18. I thought it might help as I have a tendency to hit too hard . I have no regrets changing.
All you can do is try and see if it suits you.
I've got one of the Whyte Carbon 11.75 shafts before they were triple 60 . It's the raw black . I like it and the interchangeable joint seems quality not hardware store stuff at all. I've also got a newer white one but I like the surface of the raw black one better.
I'm not sure if early GCIII used monarch superspeeds like the GCII or not. If they did the subrails will need to be modified to use K55 cushions. Their is no direct replacement for the old Monarch Superspeeds.
Not a huge fan of having cushions that only fit that table. Proprietary parts like that can cause issues down the road. It may not be an issue but companies are more apt to abandon making products that only fit one table if there isn't enough call for it.
